How to use deals and promo codes
Deal pages help you compare the advertised price, saving, code requirement, and end date. The merchant’s checkout page is always the final confirmation.
1. Match the exact product
Check the model, size, color, quantity, and seller. A code may work for one variation but not another.
2. Know whether a code is required
Promo-code offers require the displayed code at checkout. Automatic discounts should appear without entering a code. Do not assume two promotions can be combined unless the merchant allows it.
3. Compare the real dollar saving
A large percentage is not always the best value. Compare the current price with other sellers and look at observed price history when it is available.
4. Check eligibility and timing
Membership, location, seller, quantity, or account restrictions may apply. Offers can also end early when inventory or promotion limits are reached.
5. Confirm everything before payment
Verify the final price, discount, shipping charge, delivery estimate, taxes, and return terms on the purchase page before placing the order.
