How DealsChecked checks a deal
“Checked” is not one vague promise. We separate each verifiable stage so users can understand what the page actually knows.
1. Source synchronization
A deal is processed only after a complete Levanta pagination run reaches an empty cursor and the staging merge succeeds. A partial run never removes existing public deals.
2. Price-field validation
The system confirms that the reference price exceeds the deal price, calculates the discount independently, and quarantines records when the calculated result differs materially from the source percentage.
3. Product enrichment
Deals must be connected to a valid ASIN, product title, brand, allowed HTTPS Amazon image URL, current stock field, and permitted marketplace.
4. Active-link gate
A public purchase CTA appears only when the approved Levanta product link is marked active. DealsChecked does not accept arbitrary redirect URLs.
5. Freshness and expiration
Normal display requires recent successful source synchronization. Expired deals leave current directories immediately. Historical pages may remain only when they provide real price or navigation value.
6. Label meanings

Deal quality score
The public quality score may use freshness, discount percentage, dollar saving, observed price position, source completeness, product rating scale, demand, and clarity of conditions. Commission contributes zero public-quality points.
Price-history language
We say “lowest price we observed in X days” only when our own stored observations support it. We do not call an offer an all-time low without adequate evidence.
