How to choose the right CGK pocket depth
Both are CGK queen six-piece microfiber sets with the same piece count and fabric type, so comparing them isolates the one measurement that decides fit: fitted-sheet pocket depth.
Before opening either offer, measure from the bottom seam of the mattress to the top of the topper or pillow-top at its thickest point, in inches; that single number decides which set to buy.
Which mattress depths each set fits
CGK says its standard 6-piece set has deep pockets that fit mattresses 8 to 16 inches deep. CGK says its Extra Deep set fits mattresses 18, 20, 21, 22 and 24 inches deep and suits mattresses with a 3 inch or 4 inch topper. A fitted sheet that is too shallow pulls off the corners overnight, while one that is too deep can bunch, so match the range rather than buying the biggest pocket by default.
If you use a mattress topper
If you add a topper, measure the mattress and topper together. A 12 inch mattress with a 4 inch topper totals 16 inches, the top of the standard set's range, while a 15 inch mattress with a 3 or 4 inch topper totals 18 or 19 inches, inside the Extra Deep range. CGK says the standard set's 16 inch depth includes pillow tops and memory foam, and points shoppers with pillow tops and thick toppers to its Extra Deep set. CGK says the Extra Deep fitted sheet is double-brushed and has all-around elastic to help prevent slipping or bunching. CGK's two ratings leave a gap at 17 inches: neither set is rated for that depth, so if your total is about 17 inches, measure again at the corners and ask the seller which set fits before ordering.
What else differs, and what is the same
CGK's FAQ says its 6pc sheet sets include 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet and 4 pillowcases, and offers an exchange or refund within 30 days of purchase. CGK describes the standard sheets as double-brushed microfiber that is breathable, cool and silky soft. The Extra Deep set costs $10.00 more in this snapshot, which is worth paying only when your mattress and topper together are taller than the standard set's 16 inch limit.
The alternatives we checked
We also checked Mellanni's microfiber sets, which also come in standard and extra-deep depths. Mellanni lists its Queen extra-deep fitted sheet at 60 x 80 x 21 inches. Mellanni lists its standard Queen fitted sheet at 60 x 80 x 16 inches. We kept this guide to CGK's two depths so the only variable is pocket size.
FAQ
Which selected offers are current?
1 current offer is confirmed for the selected product: $29.99. This is an automatic discount; no code is required.
How do I measure mattress depth?
Measure straight up from the bottom seam of the mattress to the highest point of the top surface, including any pillow-top or topper, in inches.
My mattress is 17 inches deep. Which set should I buy?
CGK does not rate either set for exactly 17 inches: the standard set is rated up to 16 inches and the Extra Deep set from 18 inches. Measure again at the corners, and if the total is still about 17 inches, ask the seller which set fits before ordering.
Are the pillowcases and flat sheet the same in both sets?
Both are six-piece sets with one fitted sheet, one flat sheet and four pillowcases; CGK does not list piece dimensions on these pages, so check the listing if exact flat-sheet size matters.
