How to choose between them
These are two SEESII cordless kits with current offers that share the same battery size. We compare what SEESII's pages and the Amazon listings state about bar size, reach, runtime and attachments, and note where those figures disagree.
Before opening an offer, look at the thickest branch you need to cut and whether you also have hedges. We suggest the 8-inch kit for branches only, and the 6-in-1 if you also trim hedges. Keep yourself and the saw at least 10 feet from overhead power lines, as OSHA advises.
Bigger bar or hedge trimmer
SEESII's P8 Ace 2-in-1 pole saw page lists an 8-inch chain, a brushless motor, a chain speed of 26.2 feet per second and an automatic oiler. SEESII's 6-in-1 combo page lists a compact 6-inch bar for its mini chainsaw, cutting through 6-inch-thick branches, a 1000W brushless motor and 15 feet of reach based on a 6-foot person. The Amazon listing for the 6-in-1 says its 12-inch hedge trimmer cuts 3/4-inch branches and that the head pivots 180 degrees with 5 lockable positions, and gives a 3-year warranty with lifetime technical support. SEESII's 6-in-1 combo page includes a hedge trimmer head and two 21V 4.0Ah batteries, and lists up to 100 minutes of runtime. The 6-in-1 swaps some saw size for versatility; if you never trim hedges, we think the 8-inch kit is the better buy.
Reach and battery life
SEESII's P8 Ace page lists two 21V 4.0Ah batteries, up to 120 minutes of runtime with both, and reach of up to 15 feet. The Amazon listing for the 8-inch 2-in-1 says the telescoping pole adjusts from 6 to 10 feet and that the saw weighs 3.6 pounds as a mini chainsaw and 7.2 pounds as a pole saw. The Amazon listing for the 8-inch 2-in-1 says each 4,000mAh battery lasts up to 50 minutes and that the saw has a three-year warranty. SEESII's 6-in-1 combo page lists a compact 6-inch bar for its mini chainsaw, cutting through 6-inch-thick branches, a 1000W brushless motor and 15 feet of reach based on a 6-foot person. SEESII's P8 Ace page lists a 9-foot extension pole in the box. SEESII bases the 6-in-1's 15 feet on a 6-foot person, but the P8 Ace page does not say how its 15 feet is measured, and its pole is 9 feet on SEESII's page and 6 to 10 feet on Amazon, so plan on the pole length plus your own reach. The 8-inch kit's two runtime figures (up to 120 minutes with both batteries on SEESII's page, up to 50 minutes per battery on Amazon) do not agree, so plan on the Amazon figure.
When and how to prune safely
OSHA says to maintain a distance of at least 10 feet from overhead power lines, more if the voltage to ground is over 50 kV, and warns against indirect contact, such as a tree limb or tool touching a line. University of Illinois Extension recommends pruning trees in the dormant season and says most deciduous trees respond well to late-winter pruning, including fruit trees. We suggest waiting until the leaves drop, when the branches you want to remove are easier to see.
Another brand we checked
We also checked one brand-name rival. WORX's UK page lists the WG349E 20V pole saw with up to 3.6 m of reach in one place and up to 14 feet in another, sold as a tool only with the battery sold separately. The SEESII listings include two batteries, so compare total kit cost rather than tool-only prices.
FAQ
Which selected offers are current?

SEESII lists up to 15 feet for both kits; for the 6-in-1 that is based on a 6-foot person, while the 8-inch kit's pole is 9 feet on SEESII's page and 6 to 10 feet on its Amazon listing.
