Which dates should I check on a deal page?

The updated time (how recently the information changed), the offer end date (the advertised deadline), and observed price dates (recorded prices over time). The offer can still end early or sell out.

Does a recent update guarantee the price at checkout?

No. Prices, stock, sellers, and eligibility can change after the page was updated — confirm the final total with the merchant.

How to use a deal page’s updated time

Q: What does a deal page's updated time mean?

It tells you when the offer information on DealsChecked was most recently refreshed. It does not lock the merchant's live price, stock, or eligibility.

Why a deal page's updated time matters: what a recent update confirms, what can still change afterwards, and what to check again at checkout.

Quick answer: Why a deal page's updated time matters: what a recent update confirms, what can still change afterwards, and what to check again at checkout.

Short answer:the updated time tells you when the offer information on DealsChecked was most recently refreshed. It does not lock the merchant’s price, stock, or eligibility.

Three dates worth checking

Information	How to use it	What can still change
Updated time	Shows how recently the page information changed	Live price, stock, seller, and eligibility
Offer end date	Shows the advertised deadline	An offer may end early or sell out
Observed price dates	Help compare recorded prices over time	They do not guarantee a future price

Worked example

A page updated this morning may show a $79.99 price and a code ending tonight. If you select a different size or seller in the afternoon, the code may not apply. Match the item first, then confirm the final total.

How to use the timestamp

A recent update lowers the chance of outdated information; it does not eliminate live merchant changes. Recheck the selected variant, seller, shipping, and final total before ordering.

What an updated time does not guarantee

It is not a guarantee of stock, account eligibility, product quality, delivery speed, return eligibility, or a successful checkout.
